We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who will lead, manage, oversee, and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.

This will cover productivity, quality and customer service standards that need to be achieved based on the appropriate level of volume within time limits set by the business.


Responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and products to feed business operations and customer demands.


The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and increase the company's overall market share.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure an efficient warehouse shift which can fulfil operational and customer demand.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by overseeing physical counts and reconciliation under current processes utilising help of others in the warehouse team.
  • Ensure that any IT and electronical records are accurate and up to date.
  • Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space, be able to plan future capacity requirements
  • Implement best practice warehousing principles, policies and processes.
  • Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out.
  • Ensure that all machinery and equipment is well maintained, fit for purpose and daily checks are being done prior to them being used.
  • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
  • Manage resources effectively to support business and customer delivery requirements.
  • Manage absence to ensure maximum attendance levels.
  • Carry out incident, accident and nonconformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
  • Responsible for the induction, training, and development of the team by providing on the job training and assessing progress, through written reviews and probations.
  • Completing payroll activities, including new starters, employee changes and leaver information to HR accurately and on time.
  • Motivate and coach the team to operational success.
  • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance is met.
  • Ensure that MRHA regulations are adhered to
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
  • Provide product expertise within team and respond to operator queries.
  • Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team.

Key Skills

  • IT literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • FLT Licences (reach and counterbalance) with proven experience
  • Knowledge of WMS
  • Previous line management experience
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual
  • Great planning, organized and problemsolving skills abl
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working in a highdensity fast pace moving warehouse
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
