You'll be joining a friendly team of both of full time and seasonal colleagues, who are all passionate about our food, service and reputation - from Carlisle to Cagliari.


What we'd love you to bring to the team

  • Our team are at the heart of delivering our dining experience interpersonal and strong communication skills are desirable, but just as important is a warm and friendly smile
  • Restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Be willing to learn about our food, specials and wine menus
  • A positive, cando attitude as part of an encouraging working environment
  • Organisation and multitasking skills
  • Basic maths skills for cross checking transactions and bills

What does the job involve?

  • Reporting to the manager on shift, our front of house role(s) is key in delivering a charming, personable and enjoyable dining experience to our guests make them feel happy and comfortable.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Greeting guests and seating them at their table
  • Supporting with taking guest reservations
  • Food service duties from taking orders, advising on allergies through to serving meals
  • Cleaning and clearing tables
  • Setting the restaurant for service and for next guests during service
  • Bar duties from taking drinks orders through to making the drinks and clearing/cleaning glasses
  • Maintain stock of beverages
  • Taking payments
  • Managing general cleanliness standards
