Our client is looking for a part-time finance lead to join their team. Previous experience in a similar finance / accounts role is vital.
Responsibilities of a Finance Lead
- Prepare and complete with the timely distribution of management accounts and paperwork for the Management and Board meetings and preparation of Annual reports
- Create and send sales invoices
- Manage petty cash, ensuring reconciliation is appropriately completed
- Complete all appropriate HMRC returns to include the administration of local government returns, VAT, Gift Aid, and Payroll
- Facilitate general finance administration with the finance team
- Complete the monthly payroll in cooperation with the Admin and Facilities Lead to ensure skills are shared
- Prepare financial forecasts, projections and other financial reports required by the SMT and Finance Director
- Manage and administer all bank accounts
- Provide confidential and discrete Finance support to the Board, our staff and external contributors
- Line manage the Finance Assistant and voluntary staff
- Experience of working in a busy finance role
- Part or fully AAT qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification)
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
- Payroll experience
