Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in the healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate will have a background in home care settings (Domiciliary), good knowledge of learning disabilities and Autism, with experience in supervising staff and providing high-quality care services.


Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Registered Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional care services
  • Supervise and support care staff in providing personalized care to people who use our service
  • Manage medication administration processes and ensure compliance with protocols
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and service users to address individual needs
  • Maintain quality assurance programs to uphold standards of care
  • Assist in staff training, development, and performance evaluations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as regulatory compliance
  • Provide hands on care when required
  • Being part of the oncall rotaQualifications:
  • Previous experience in home care (Domiciliary) environment, and knowledge of Autism and Learning Disabilities.
  • previous experience using Access Care Planning would be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
  • Knowledge of dementia care practices and specialised care techniques
  • Proficiency in medication administration procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with service users, families, and staff members
  • A relevant health and social care qualification level 3 or above or be working towards.
