An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Driver Trainer at Graham's the Family Dairy.

This is a new role which will report to our Group Transport Manager and will be based at our Bridge of Allan site although travel to other sites/depts will be required.


As a Driver Trainer you will be:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all drivers are fully trained on all Transport regulations and company procedures
  • Assist with the assessment and recruitment of new team members
  • Carry out induction training for new colleagues within the transport/distribution function and ensure ongoing training for current employees in regard to regular driver training.
  • Oversee and manage the driver apprenticeship program
  • Carry out training requirements, in accordance with industry standards (e.g. tachograph infringements)
  • Complete all required administrative documentation in regard to the training delivered to new starts and current employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring drivers are trained on how to load and unload vehicles, fuel efficiency, cash handling, refrigeration use and score against company standards
  • Delivery of training plan to meet both individual and business needs
  • Work with Group Transport manager, Operations Manager, Regional Distribution and depot managers to ensure shared responsibility for delivering all KPIs
  • Assist with investigation of any Road and/or H&S accidents
  • Design and implement any New Equipment training sessions
  • Adheres to all Company Health and Safety procedures and HR Policies and Procedures
  • Class 1 license
  • Up to date CPC
  • Previous experience of carrying out driver training
  • Previous experience of continuously working with different classes of vehicles
As a Driver Trainer you will work 45 hours per week 5 days over 7.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
