The post holder will bring clinical experience and expertise to the role at an exciting time of supporting the transformation of OT services for children with complex needs. This includes knowledge and skills in evidence-based OT approaches including the provision of specialist equipment. The post holder will form part of the Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Specialist Play Service team working collaboratively with the MDT to deliver service improvement and provide leadership as required.

Main duties of the job

This excitingrole involves being a key member of the Children's Occupational Therapyleadership and clinical team helping to shape the physical disability servicefor OT. You will oversee projects and quality improvement initiatives to designand embed clinical pathways to meet the needs of those with complex physicalneeds.

You will sitwithin the community OT team providing specialist assessments, interventionsand implementing effective outcome measures including the provision ofspecialist equipment. You will have responsibility for the clinical leadershipof the OT team supporting with clinical supervision, training and embedding clinicalpathways.
