- Assist veterinarians in providing care for animals
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
- Monitor animals before, during, and after procedures or surgeries
- Clean and maintain examination rooms, kennels, and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and in a health care environment
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Salary:
Up to £21,500.00 per year
