EMM UK is now supporting a 3-year Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor's offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway) and is looking for engineering and design discipline Project personnel to join us.

We are looking for a Principal Planning Engineer to join our team based in our Aberdeen (AIBP) office.

What will you be doing?:

  • Establish a project schedule according to the business case strategies, both for early phase and execution
  • In close cooperation with key stakeholders, monitor and track progress in accordance with project targets
  • Active followup of project plans, milestones, and critical paths, including specific project plans
  • Contribute to the project planning basis setup, development, and updates and ensure consistency between contractors' plans and overall project plans
  • Maintain communication and interfaces between other stakeholders, senior managers and contractors
  • Contribute with planning and trend analysis, including float/critical path development
  • Actively develop proposals for schedule recovery and maintenance of key milestones
- regularly update and monitor the schedule risk plan, highlighting key events/risks

We think you should have:

  • Knowledge of:
  • The dependencies between; engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and completion.
  • Change control practices.
  • Risk management techniques
  • Overall functionality and information flow between the various Central Project Systems.
  • The multidiscipline engineering dependencies.
  • Supply Chain management for critical path anaylsis.
  • Completion work process.
  • Adequate knowledge of organisation principles related to:
  • Team work, communication, decision processes, and team building
  • Detailed knowledge of:
  • Network planning principles (activity scheduling).
  • Detail planning principles (document production/job scheduling).
  • Master or Bachelor of Science/Economics
  • Preferably min 5 years of relevant experience
