They are on the lookout for a talented and driven Smart Locker Engineer to join their dynamic team. Job Description:

As a Smart Locker Engineer, you'll be pivotal in the maintenance and enhancement of smart locker systems tailored for parcel delivery. Your tasks will revolve around ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of these systems, along with their seamless integration with IT infrastructure. This role demands a blend of electro-mechanical proficiency, IT acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a readiness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot smart locker systems across diverse locations, guaranteeing functionality, security, and IT integration.
  • Electro-Mechanical Expertise: Apply your electro-mechanical skills to diagnose, fix, and enhance smart locker components, ensuring flawless synchronization with IT setups.
  • IT System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to sync smart locker systems with backend software, enabling precise tracking, data exchange, and remote oversight.
  • Outdoor Work: Execute tasks outdoors, potentially involving elevated work, ladder usage, and adaptation to various weather conditions.
  • Electrical Testing: Employ tools like multimeters for electrical assessments, such as current, voltage, and resistance measurements, to pinpoint and resolve issues.
  • Component Replacement: Swap out and repair components like solenoids, electromagnets, sensors, and control systems as necessary.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed logs of maintenance tasks, repairs, and utilized parts for accurate reporting and future guidance.
  • Security: Safeguard smart lockers and their contents to deter unauthorized entry and tampering.
  • IT Systems Understanding: Collaborate with IT squads to grasp and effectively troubleshoot any IT-related hurdles affecting smart locker performance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in electro-mechanical systems, with a solid grasp of current, voltage, resistance, and IT frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like multimeters, solenoids, and electromagnets.
  • Capability to work outdoors, occasionally at heights, and adapt to varying weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for maintaining precise records.
  • Excellent communication prowess and the capacity to operate autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Desirable possession of an ECS or CSCS card for construction site accessibility.
  • Readiness for extensive fieldwork travel, with travel costs covered through a fuel card.
