About the Job
I am recruiting for a leading manufacturer who are keen to recruit enthusiastic and committed individuals to join their business.
Main duties & responsibilities;
Production operative / Intake Operatives
- To operate plant or machinery, Which will include process lines / forklifts / shunter vehicles / Loading Shovels etc (Training will be provided to successful applicants)
- To have a basic understanding of health and safety
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer / held hand device
- Clean driving licence
- The ability to work well with others
- To be able to pay attention to detail
- Good health and fitness
Day to day tasks include
- Operating production line equipment
- Reporting equipment faults
- Ensure finished products are with specification
- Monitoring the products and carrying out basic sampling tasks
- Housekeeping
- Driving different vehicles
- Use of lifting equipment etc
- Confined space entries
- Ensuring health and safety guidance is followed etc
