Join Our Team as a Shift Manager:
- Ensure team efficiency and meet key performance indicators during shifts
- Oversee Health & Safety protocols and compliance while maximizing operational capacity
- Continuously assess work methods, introduce improvements, and drive team implementation
- Assign tasks, set targets, review performance, and foster team growth
The Shift Manager position involves rotating shifts between 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage daily operations, focusing on timely customer deliveries
- Plan and oversee resources, including third-party workers
- Handle customer complaints effectively to safeguard the company's reputation
- Ensure vehicle compliance with regulations and operational standards
- Supervise regulatory compliance for drivers and vehicles

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven team management experience, preferably in furniture or logistics
- Knowledge of Transport legislation and Health & Safety practices
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck experience required
- Understanding of Transport legislation, Health & Safety, and compliance
- IOSH and CPC certifications are advantageous
