Lincolnshire Secure Unit is situated in the market town of
Sleaford approximately 20 miles south of Lincoln. This 12 bedded
Local Authority Secure Children's Home gives the highest level of care and education for young people who are placed via the courts for Youth Justice or Welfare reasons.

About the role
The Handyperson is responsible for the general maintenance, minor repairs and minor decoration within the building and curtilage.

About you
To be considered for this role you will need to have practical DIY skills, and be a flexible worker.

Lists of duties are outlined below:

  • Painting
  • Carpet washing
  • Sweeping cleaning outdoor areas
  • Hedge trimming
  • Grass cutting
  • Window cleaning
  • Taking out large dustbins for emptying
  • Escorting contractors around site
  • Assisting when required with jobs around the unit
  • General Site Maintenance
