Job Description:
Senior CSA Engineer responsible for all CSA activities on all types of projects, including, preparation of, or review of specifications, standards, procedures, reports, sub-contract scope of works, planning, scheduling, progress reporting, supervision, geotechnical and site survey works, site preparation, design of steel and concrete structures, U/G services, and foundations, etc.
Position suits an engineer with strong technical experience, ideally in all three Civil, Structural and Architectural specialties and a full understanding/experience of the various scopes of projects of all phases.

all engineering disciplines (such as Technology, Process, Engineering Design) and all non-engineering disciplines (such as project controls, planning, procurement, construction)nExternally:

Job scope:
- Prepare and check engineering procedures and standards.n
- Proficient in as a minimum preparing and checking of;nDiscipline basis of designnDiscipline Specificationsndata sheets,nrequisitions,npreparing input for Class 3 and 2 estimatesntechnical bid evaluations,ndetailed mechanical drawings.
- Provide technical recommendations on the selection of equipment to meet Project requirements.n
- Check and review vendor proposals, documentation and drawings.n
- Participate in project, client and vendor meetings.n
- Provide Input to Construction Subcontract and evaluate bidsn
- Be prepared to travel in the UK and overseas for meetings, equipment testing and site technical support to meet Project requirements
Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
Typically, has a HNC or degree in design/engineering with minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in a design engineering and plant design work environment.nCSA engineering and design leadership experience of both small and large FEED/EPC projects.nExperience of leading multi-office projects.nengineer in all aspects of Civil/Struct Engineering in the Petrochemical and or Refinery experience of all aspects of civil and structural design works to UK, American and European codes and be familiar with developing Specifications and Standards, progress reporting and supervising CSA teams.nUnderstanding & technical participation in constructability reviews and design reviews (Layout fix, 30%, 60% & 90%).nExperienced in production of 3D models with TeklanExperienced in performing material take-off either from model or from general arrangements.
