Are you looking for a new opportunity that offers meaningful work with true purpose? We would love to welcome you to our multinational team

Your growth is our growth. We invest in your future by enhancing your skills and abilities through training opportunities and interesting challenges.

At Panasonic, we believe in the power of collaboration - only together can we continue to expand our innovative edge and exceed our customers' expectations.

We are a powerful brand with a rich company culture, based on our 7 principles. It's not just about what we do, but how we do it.

To fulfil our social responsibilities, we will continue to do what we have done for over 100 years - to enrich people's lives at home and at work, and move society forward.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The PQA Inspector will drive and support all quality improvement activities and sustain the required quality standards within PMUK HAD to achieve our daily production plan, adhere to all EHS and quality requirements and audit current processes and quality inspections to ensure we are producing all products to the required standard and 100% within specification as per sign off by the Quality Department.

Carry out daily Quality & Process Audits and work with the production teams to maintain the required production and quality standards in order to produce all products 'right-first time' and minimize the need to rework completed products and produce defects throughout our processes.

Carry out quality assurance checks in various areas of the shop floor to ensure that the components and sub-assemblies produced are within dimensional and other required specifications.

The role will involve carrying out destructive tests and measurements of oven cavities and measurements of press plant parts.

Key focus of the role is ensuring we have effective and quick feedback from oven cavity to press plant and the main assembly lines back to oven cavity and press plant.

Our goal is to ensure the process can find the defects at source and not pass forward defective product.

Propose improvement ideas and opportunities to key members of the team so we can always drive a continuous improvement mindset and approach to future improved results within our business.

  • Carry out daily quality and process audits in the press plant and oven cavity, providing effective feedback to the area supervisors in order to improve the right first time pass rate.
  • Feedback of oven cavity and press plant defects found at the main assembly lines to the root cause owners so that improvements can be made.
  • Dimensional checks and measurements of the press plant from all three lines to ensure everything being produced from the press plant is in specification and good to move to the next process.
  • Share process and quality improvement opportunities to drive Continuous Improvement activities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Education/Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience in a production quality or continuous improvement role.
  • Experience of working in a highvolume manufacturing environment.
