Yeovil, Somerset, United Kingdom Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Full time

An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee (band 7) or Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) (band 8a)to join our team to work within the EmergencyDepartmentat Yeovil Hospital.

We are looking forclinicians, from any relevant professional background, with commitment, flexibility, enthusiasm, excellent clinical skills, and who are keen to work as part of an outstanding team.

We are committed to supporting the Masters and RCEM credentialing requirements.

The clinical component includes participation on the two clinical rotas (junior and senior), alongside other clinicians, depending on level of training and seniority.

There are three stages of clinical participation, which is determined through an internal benchmarking process. This ensures trainees can safely progress to the next rota when they are confident and competent to do so.

Initial participation in the clinical rota is supernumerary. From here trainees progress to full participants on the junior rota, and then finally to the senior rota. All shifts are led by a senior clinician, and include nights when trainees are ready. The rota allows for 24-hour senior supervision and clinical support.
