We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and pro active individual to work within our team of Tobacco Dependency Advisors.


In line with the ambitions of the NHS Long term plan, we will be launching a new Quit for Life team at RCHT.

This role will support patients to be smoke free during an admission by assessing and treating nicotine dependence.

For those patients who want to stop smoking, you will work with them to plan their quit attempt and arrange ongoing support on discharge.


This is an important and impactful part of care for our patients who smoke realising both short and long term health benefits.

Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
