Our client are a growing business who provide products and services for purification, separation and concentration in the processing of liquids and gases based in Tipton.
They are looking to recruit a Yard & Plant Support Operator to operate and maintain thePlant with respect to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and company policies.
**Responsibilities and duties:-**:
- Receive, handle and document spent carbon deliveries;
- Monitor, record and optimize process conditions within environmental, safety, and quality standards;
- Pack, sample, test, store and document finished products;
- Contribute to good housekeeping practices within the plant;
- Provide support to Warehouse when needed.
-**:
- A good level of general education;
- Two years' experience in a Production/Process environment (preferably within a Heavy Industry background);
- Good interpersonal skills and able to be able to work as part of a team;
- Ability to undertake occasional travel.
-**:
- Must be computer literate;
- A fork lift licence (Counterbalance) would be helpful, but training can be given;
- Must be physically fit;
- Be a first aid "appointed person";
- Have a good awareness of H&S, Environmental policies and ISO procedures.
