The successful applicants key focus is to assist the operations team in preparing, analysing and reporting financial performance against budget and targets.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the database used for the calculation of the standard product cost for each product manufactured on sitenUsing production quantities, calculate a weekly result for the site and compare actual usage to standard usage for raw materials consumption and labour hoursnAnalyse the variances to provide insight to assist in the efficient management of the production processnProduce month end site P&L account analysing accounting data from SAP and completing with month end accruals, prepayments and recharges as requirednExtract and produce reports to explain and analyse variances against standard for manufacturing and labour losses and and fixed costs to budgetnProduce factory budget and reforecasts in accordance with the methodology of the groupnCalculation of PCU for NPD as requirednAdhere to group accounting procedures and internal controls
About you:
Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG or Food ProductionnACCA/CIMA/ICAEW Qualified or equivalentnNewly qualified, QBE or Part-qualified will be considerednExperience in using SAP is desirablenThe ability to extract, manipulate, analyse and report data in Excel and Access is
essential
Remuneration:
Paying circa £45kn25 days Holiday + PublicnBUPAnBonus plan of 5%nCompany Pension as standard
The role does allow for hybrid working, however, the successful applicant must foster close relationships with key stakeholders, including the manufacturing team on site.
