Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Fitter at EMCOR UK, you will be crucial in executing planned and unplanned mechanical engineering tasks to ensure smooth contract operations and uphold high standards at client sites.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Line Manager in implementing EMCOR's policies and standards to maintain operational integrity and deliver top-notch services.
  • Ensure timely completion of Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance, with thorough documentation.
  • Rectify defects while meeting safety and performance standards specified in the contract.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Oversee specialist contractors, ensuring compliance with client and EMCOR requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Helpdesk to promptly address urgent maintenance tasks.

Who you'll be:
  • Hold ONC / OND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in the relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in building services.
  • Familiarity with PSSR 2000, Confined Space regulations, Legionella, and Permit to Work systems.
  • Articulate, numerate, and IT savvy.
  • Understanding of legislative compliance and contract law.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facilities management and building services engineering.
  • Ability to set, enforce, and monitor high standards in quality, safety, and performance.
  • Proven track record in health and safety compliance.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain DV level security clearance.
