We are looking for a Team Leader to join the Ancillary service team based in Padworth to support in achieving successful delivery of the service whilst working alongside the street cleansing services.

Our Ancillary service consists of Bulky household waste collections, container deliveries and collecting fly-tips.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee the clinical waste service and ensure it is run in a compliant way.
  • Oversee the Ancillary service and ensure that all SLA 's are completed within time
  • Ensure operatives are working safely and coach and support where needed.
  • Assist with the booking of staff in/out, training of staff and liaising with the client waste officers.
  • Ensure that the fleet is kept clean, to investigate and report to the environmental manager if accidents/damage takes place.
  • Understand and use when needed all operational software systems for service and vehicle compliance, as well as safety reporting.
  • Proactively engage with staff across the contract, promote outlets/forums e.g H&S meetings and actively participate.

What are we looking for?

  • Full driving licence
  • Similar managerial experience within an operational environment
  • PC literate
