Within your role as Hoist Installer, you will be vital in the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of our rack and pinion construction hoist rental fleet. Your responsibilities will include attending sites for installations as per customer requirements and maintaining all necessary documentation.

To excel as a Hoist Installer, you should bring the following skills and traits:

  • Have a proven background in the construction hoist sector
  • Possess a valid CSCS card/NVQ in Hoist Installation or equivalent
  • Demonstrate experience working at heights
  • Hold harness experience/training
  • Effective communication and reporting abilities
  • Readiness to work non-traditional hours as needed by the business
  • Willingness to occasionally work away from home based on company requirements
  • Ability to collaborate within a team
  • Preparedness to work outdoors at heights throughout the year

The following skills are beneficial although not mandatory at this stage:

  • CPCS Slinger/Signaller Qualification
  • CCNSG Passport To Safety Qualification
  • Training on Hoist Manufacturers' products
  • Rescue/Harness/Working at Height Training

Ideally, you have previous experience with hoists or similar lifting equipment and understand the challenges involved in working at heights.
