About the role:

  • An opportunity has arisen for a full time Associate Practitioner role in our Haematology and Blood Transfusion Department based at Ealing Hospital.
  • The Haematology and Blood Transfusion Service at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust is provided by The Doctors Laboratory (TDL). The TDL Haematology and Blood Transfusion department provide an essential 24/7 service to the patients under the care of Ealing Hospital NHS Trust and the Circle Health care group (CHG).
  • The role includes but not limited to undertaking general housekeeping duties including stock and waste management. To assist in the maintenance of equipment including start up and shutdown procedures, running controls and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly prior to analysis. To carry out trouble shooting procedures when required and escalating to senior members of staff if situations requiring further actions.
