The Faculty of Public Health and Policy (PHP) aims to improve health in the UK and worldwide. We do this through research, teaching, and consultancy in the areas of health policy, health systems and services, and public health, working in the UK, Europe and a range of low- and middle-income countries. We run a range of popular and respected MSc courses, research degrees, short courses, and CPD.
The Faculty of PHP is recruiting an Associate Dean (Education). The Faculty ADE holds an important and visible role across LSHTM with particular responsibility for leading Faculty education strategic planning, quality management and enhancement, and student experience. The post presents an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make significant impact in shaping LSHTM's and the faculty's education provision, ensuring that it is relevant, high quality, entrepreneurial and thriving, and thus making major contributions to human health worldwide.
This is a permanent and full-time post, though a minimum of 0.8 FTE will be considered. The role holder will have a doctoral degree in a relevant topic or equivalent qualification and will be a Fellow or Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, or will have a qualification in Teaching and Learning Practice (e.g. PG Certificate in Teaching and Learning along with significant experience of leading change and innovation in a higher education setting. The role will be based in London at our Tavistock Place building.

£62,028 to £71,192 per annum, inclusive. A Market Supplement of up to £10,000 per annum (pro-rata) on top of the basic salary will be available for suitably experienced and exceptional candidates
