As a SEN College Teacher, you'll be at the forefront of creating transformative learning experiences for students with Autism and Complex Learning Difficulties. Your role will be essential in designing personalised educational journeys and providing the support and encouragement they need to succeed.

  • Innovative Lesson Development: Craft and deliver dynamic lessons tailored to the diverse learning needs and abilities of our SEN students, focusing on vocational skills, practical life skills, and communication.
  • Collaborative Classroom Environment: Work alongside colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.
  • Holistic Student Support: Engage closely with students, parents, and external agencies to ensure that individual learning needs are comprehensively met.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their continuous development.
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Educator: Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Education.
  • Relevant Experience: Have experience working with young adults with SEN, preferably in a college or post-secondary setting.
  • Exceptional Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Passion for SEN: Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
