Assistant Manager - Job Description

Who We Are:

Caddi Club "The Golf Club on your doorstep" is an agile start-up aiming to help shape an industry with our members at the core of everything we do.

Having started in March 2022, we have been overwhelmed with the success of the first site and have since opened two more.

We will continue to grow in our quest to make golf more accessible. Aiming to build a diverse community where people can connect, learn, relax and most importantly, have fun. It is our team that makes this possible.

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Manager at Caddi Club located in London.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Club Manager to learn all aspects of the club's operations and management.


The Role:


At Caddi Club, the Assistant Manager (AM) must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.

You should be able to think critically and make decisions based on the best interests of the club. You will receive hands-on training in areas such as customer service, sales and marketing, financial management, and more. This is a highly dynamic role that requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

A successful Assistant Manager will collaboratively partner with the rest of their team to develop goals and actionable items required to optimise performance and profitability.


Main Duties:
Shadow senior management to learn the day-to-day operations of the clubParticipate in customer service and sales activities, including greeting guests and answering questions about the clubAssist with marketing and promotional efforts, including the creation of flyers, social media posts, and email campaignsWork with the club management to develop strategies to increase membership and revenueAssist with event planning and coordinationPerform other duties as assigned by senior managementDay to day operation of the siteEnsure the golf club is kept in the highest possible conditionTrain and supervise other staff members as neededMonitor customer feedback and respond appropriatelyDevelop and maintain positive relationships with members and guestsPlace supplier orders and complete weekly inventory checks Looking for ways to improve the overall profitability of the storeQualifications:Experience in Hospitality Management, preferably in a club or restaurantStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsFinancial management and budgeting skillsExperience with software for scheduling and inventory managementAbility to work under pressure and flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsMarketing and Sales experience is a plusExperience with golf operations is a plus
