Job Description:

Summary:

The role of the DevOps Engineer is crucial in overseeing the infrastructure and deployment processes within our organization. We are looking for a professional with top-notch technical skills, great problem-solving abilities, and a knack for thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The perfect candidate should boast extensive experience in DevOps methods and tools along with a sound grasp of security protocols and standards.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as on-premise solutions.
  • Automation: Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, ensuring swift and dependable software delivery.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Establish robust monitoring and logging solutions for system reliability, performance, and security, with swift troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to guarantee seamless integration and application delivery.
  • Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices and compliance mandates across all systems and operations, conducting periodic security appraisals and audits.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on infrastructure, processes, and incident reports.
  • Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance our DevOps practices.

Requirements Essential:
Security Clearance: DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is a must.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of solid experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
Technical Skills:


Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and Ruby. Acquaintance with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. Understanding of network protocols and security practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a keen focus on quality and efficiency.


Preferred:
Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, or similar.
Experience: Previous exposure to high-security environments or government agencies.
Knowledge: Understanding of Agile methodologies and prior experience working in an Agile environment.
