We have a remarkable opportunity for a senior Workday professional to become part of the team and help shape and influence the people and culture agenda at Sunbelt Rentals as a Workday People Product Manager.
Reporting to our Head of people Shared service, the People Product Manager will be responsible for delivering product roadmaps, gathering, and documenting all Workday requirements, and designing Workday system solutions. Additionally, this role involves change and project management, training, and ensuring the adoption of solutions and services within Workday.
Key responsibilities will:
Oversee the Workday system on a day-to-day basis Problem solving to meet development goals and program objectives Work in partnership with the US technology teams, people team leaders and system users to ensure we are utilising Workday to its full potential Provide Workday expertise and creative solutions on new functionality/features/capabilities and wider industry/HCM/technology trends Oversea the product backlog to prioritise user stories for implementation Proactively identify Workday product enhancements to deliver an intuitive employee experience Overseeing the tracking and monitoring of issues raised; with regular reporting / analysis Manage Workday enhancements from concept to delivery – on time, on budget and exceeding customer expectations Maintain Workday global design standards and principles against competing requests for change Lead the Systems Support TeamWhat can we offer you in return? To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
Global Workday deployment and support experience in a complex organization Outstanding understanding of human resources processes and systems in a global organisation, these include, compensation, benefits and payroll Team leadership and management of offshore teams Strong ability to lead, inspire, engage, and coach a diverse team and create an inclusive culture across geographical boundaries Extensive project management experience, preferably six sigma/prince 2 accreditation (or equivalent) Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders in IT and cross the wider Sunbelt business, investing time to understand their needs, and helping to breakdown any siloes or resistance to deliver desired business outcomes Creative solutioning and strong problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both with technical and non-technical audiences Previous experience of programme management Excellent written and verbal communication skills High levels of accuracy and attention to detail The ability to problem solves with a focus on solutions Influencing of key line managers (including those in senior grades) Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word, Excel and Outlook.-
