We're revolutionising traditional games to offer interactive darts, electronic beer pong and social shuffleboard.

This is competitive socialising, that's seriously good fun A games host role will entail checking in our customers when they arrive and making sure they get the very best experience possible when playing our social sports.

To be successful as a Bartender/Games Host for the On the Boards Team, you will be responsible for the following on a daily basis:

  • Provide an amazing experience for our guests.
  • Be fun, enthusiastic and have lots of energy
  • Be able to work as part of a team, delivering consistent service with an attention to detail, even when under pressure.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Be willing to learn.
  • Have great communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Bring new and creative ideas to how we do things.

On The Boards is the first and only, social sports venue in Cornwall - bringing fresh innovation and variety via a choice of three interactive games:


  • Interactive Darts: the most fun you can have throwing pointy things at a wall. Fact. Forget the mental maths and playing second fiddle to the pub team's weekly "practice" here darts fly truer than ever, thanks to the patented pressure sensor technology for accurate score recording. Aim for those treble twenties with a game of traditional darts or take flight on one of 10 new action-packed game variations.
