Missing Pet Search Team Member

This exciting new opportunity is based at our head office in Chester.


As one of our Missing Pet Search Team, you will receive comprehensive training on how to find missing pets - whether they be cats, dogs, tortoises, llamas or anything else.


Your duties and responsibilities:

  • You will be required to drive the company search rescue van
  • Door to door enquires
  • Displaying posters & distributing leaflets
  • Physical searches, using all the techniques you've been trained
  • Video footage and some basic media skills preferred
  • Use of professional search equipment
  • Animal handling
  • Overnight stays often required (accommodation and expenses paid)

About you:

  • Valid UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months (some van driving experience preferred but not essential)
  • Animal Lover, understanding, empathetic and energetic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Will be required to be active most of the day, on average walking up to 5 miles on a search day

The role is on a self-employed basis. Over the last 12 months, team members in this role have averaged 2-5 searches each per month. Typically, we will ask for your availability each Sunday for the week ahead.
