Countryside Art Ltd are a niche design, print and manufacturing company offering quality UK-made kitchen têxtiles plus other UK-made outsourced giftware products to many leading organisations such as National Trust and The British Museum through to a diverse range of customers such as individual designers selling through on-line platforms.

We are looking for a full time Print Assistant to join our very well-established, experienced screen print team.

**What Does The Job Consist Of: - **- The job consists of loading the MHM silk screen printing machines with cloth and ensuring that the correct materials are selected for each job

  • Assisting with setting up the print machines
  • Taking the screens out of the machine at the end of the print run and cleaning them
  • Quality controlling prints at the ends of the dryers, ensuring they are recorded on the production planning system and then stored correctly
  • Assisting with digitally printing bags in between screen print runs
  • Assisting with keeping the digital dryers running when quality controlling prints at the end of the dryer
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

  • As we supply many of the leading visitor attraction and retailers in the UK and abroad we require the work to be of a high and exacting standard
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential
  • You will be required to work as a team and operate to tight production deadlines
  • Screen printing is a hands on job that also requires high levels of concentration for long periods
  • The ability to work safely with machinery
**Additional Skills:

  • Previous experience in a print environment
  • Previous ink mixing experience
  • Previous screen making experience
**Training:
- *
  • You will receive full training and over time gain valuable skills
  • Previous experience is not necessary, but we are looking for an enthusiastic person keen to learn new skills.


The basic hours are 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday with occasional over-time at busy periods.

The initial rate of pay is £10.50 per hour, which will be adjusted as skill levels increase.
