We're searching for a talented Head Chef with natural creativity and flair, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll lead the kitchen team, ensuring consistent high-quality food delivery in a fun and professional setting.

The ideal candidate will onboard and mentor new team members, fostering their skills through training. Building a reliable team is essential for seamless service operations. Your ability to stay composed and organized under pressure is vital. A strong understanding of overall operations is key to success.

You must be passionate about excellence, innovation, and capable of creating original, delicious dishes that meet profit margins. Encouraging chefs to excel within their roles or explore new opportunities is a top priority.

Collaborating with suppliers to secure the best produce at competitive prices is crucial. Your keen attention to detail regarding health & safety, EHO, COSHH, and venue standards is imperative.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of learning, talent retention, and attraction
  • Lead a high-end pub/restaurant kitchen with experience in small events and hotels
  • Develop menus with fresh ingredients for innovative dishes
  • Demonstrate culinary expertise, impeccable presentation, and attention to detail
  • Maintain a positive attitude, surprise and care for the team and guests
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety, food hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Understand GP%, handle stocktakes effectively
  • Assist in personnel management, scheduling, and performance reviews
