Department Overview:


We are a sector focused business actively operating and investing in Infrastructure, Commercial, Residential, Education, Health, Sports, Nuclear and Retail clients and projects.

We work in close contact with our clients, advising them on financial, programme, procurement, quality, risk and contractual matters that arise during the project.


Our dedicated Built Asset Consultancy team at RLB proactively manage and undertake surveys, formulate designs and specifications, manage and advise on quality, administrate projects and programmes plus various other bespoke services to ensure our clients estate remains well maintained and achieves its full potential.

We are currently recruiting
Assistant
Clerk of Works to join our Built Asset Consultancy team to work closely with the surveyors managing the projects across residential and commercial sectors.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting Clerk of Works with verifying compliance with contractual drawings and
  • Measuring and quality checking building materials
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to construction managers, architects and clients
  • Helping prepare written reports
  • Keeping detailed records of work
  • Assisting with regular inspections of the work, materials and products on site

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience within construction sector
  • HNC or HND
  • Capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a group
  • Keeping up to date with current building regulations and compliance
