Production Welder/body Builder

About the Role:

  • Handson position assembling municipal vehicles and fitting components
  • Some welding required based on technical drawings.
  • Full training provided on our products.
  • Monday to Thursday 07:00 17:30. Occasional paid overtime on Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling vehicle components using build manuals.
  • Use of hand and power tools, including drills, riveters, and welding apparatus.
  • Constructing and repairing metal truck bodies and trailers to specifications.
  • Welding new assemblies from technical drawings.
  • Operating machinery including forklift trucks and cutting equipment.
  • Adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Accurate completion of documentation.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in automotive or heavy plant manufacturing.
  • Driving licence.
  • Welding qualification.

Desired Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • HGV Class 2 Driving Licence.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Experience in the Waste Management industry.
  • Electrical or hydraulic qualifications a plus.
