Learning and Widening Participation Facilitator

This role as Learning and Widening Participation Facilitator is expected to provide and support employability opportunities to attract and retain our current and future workforce.

They will be expected to create and implement a range of Widening Participation projects to support strategic workforce planning across the North East and North Cumbria.


The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision and co-ordination of efficient and effective programmes, activities and projects to support organisations strategy and aspirations and to contribute to the formulation, agreement and delivery of HR and clinical development strategies by providing a high-quality service.


It is essential that the post holder role models compassionate and inclusive leadership by engaging, enabling and empowering others; using coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement; and facilitating team working and collaboration across organisational boundaries.


This post is hosted, and be based with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, having a reach across the wider geographical boundaries of the North East and North Cumbria.
