Join Our Team as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to work with one of the leading Social Housing contractors nationwide. As an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a reactive maintenance contract in Brentwood, with travel across Essex. This full-time, permanent position comes with a competitive salary of up to £44k along with a van and fuel card.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Technical Compliance Team, NICEIC, SHE, Managers, and the client.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments for electrical works and staff.
  • Ensure prompt verification of all electricians' inspection and testing results to prevent delays and address any potential electrical issues.
  • Be the registered Qualifying Supervisor for the branch, completing necessary assessments as required by the NICEIC.

Key skills for this position include:

  • Hands-on experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in compliance with The IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including training and developing apprentices.
  • Proficiency in electrical installations, repairs, inspections, and testing, with the ability to generate Electrical Certificates and Condition Reports.
  • Full electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Test & Inspect, 18th Edition, and NICEIC approval.
  • Prior experience as an NICEIC approved Electrical QS.
