Kasmir Associates is currently looking for a skilled QA Technologist to join a leading client specializing in homeware and small domestic appliances for the retail and consumer markets.

In this role, you will be part of the Quality Department reporting to the QA Director, focusing on small electrical appliances such as kettles, toasters, coffee makers, heaters, and coolers.


Your responsibilities will include:
  • Quality assurance:

- Creating and managing technical files to ensure product safety compliance.

- Evaluating products for safety adherence to regulations and standards.

- Monitoring orders, inspections, and product specifications.

- Coordinating with retailers regarding selections and technical requirements.

- Providing input on testing needs for specific product categories.

- Collaborating with external testing labs for compliance.

- Generating instruction manuals and rating labels.

- Reviewing artwork related to product claims.

- Assisting the Technical Manager and Buyers in product quality development.

- Liaising with Buying Teams and conducting factory audits.

- Supporting Customer Services in resolving complaints efficiently.

- Managing phone calls overflow when necessary.


Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.

- Thorough knowledge of small domestic electrical appliances.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally InDesign, Paint, or Illustrator.

- Team player with a can-do attitude.

- Adaptive, flexible, and enthusiastic.
