Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team
  • Assist in developing and implementing care plans for each resident
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfers
  • Supervise and support junior care assistants
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in senior care or a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide junior staff
  • Knowledge of care planning processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes
  • Genuine passion for providing quality care to seniors
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Salary:
£9.39-£13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
