We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team.

As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery and tools to fabricate and assemble metal components in 1-offs and small batches.

Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will be crucial in ensuring the quality of our products.

Duties:

  • Set up and operate turning machines to shape metal parts according to specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
  • Use hand tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to measure and inspect finished parts
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner or in a similar role
  • Proficient in using hand tools and operating turning machines
  • Prototrak S series controls.
  • Working predominantly with 300 series stainless steel, plus various other materials
  • Familiarity with tooling techniques and basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery
  • Experience of working in an engineering environment is essential.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
