Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team.

As a Lead Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, meal preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

This is a key role in our restaurant, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about culinary arts and has a strong background in food preparation.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed
  • Assist in training new kitchen employees
  • Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations Experience:
  • Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay:
£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
