As an Aspiring Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in the school community by collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and students to enhance mental well-being and academic achievement. This position provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise and acquire valuable experience in a supportive and cooperative setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer individual and group support to students facing emotional, social, and behavioral obstacles.
  • Devise and execute intervention tactics to aid students' emotional and educational growth.
  • Work alongside teachers and staff to establish and sustain a positive and inclusive school atmosphere.
  • Conduct evaluations to pinpoint students' requirements and track their advancement.
  • Assist in creating and facilitating mental health and well-being initiatives.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive backing for students.
  • Provide counsel and instruction to staff and parents on child development and psychological matters.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a love for working with children and an aspiration to pursue a psychology career.
  • Hold relevant qualifications or be in the process of attaining a psychology or related field degree.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection protocols and procedures.

Please note that this position necessitates a solid grasp of safeguarding and child protection standards and successful candidates must pass all essential background security checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
