Mathematics Special Education Needs (SEN) Instructor

Welcome to our team We are looking for a math teacher to become a part of our specialized SEN school, which is focused on helping students with behavioral, emotional, learning, and social communication challenges. We need someone who is not only a qualified and experienced teacher but also someone who is enthusiastic about encouraging students to strive for excellence.

What to Expect in this Role:

  • Conducting interactive math classes for students with special educational requirements and ensuring that each student's learning needs are addressed.
  • Establishing a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere tailored to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Creating personalized learning plans and establishing achievable goals for students.
  • Working together with other educators and SEN experts to improve educational initiatives.
  • Implementing creative teaching approaches and educational technology to foster learning.
  • Tracking and evaluating students' advancements, offering input, and adjusting teaching approaches as necessary.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching certification.
  • Prior experience in teaching mathematics in an SEN environment is highly preferred.
  • Thorough comprehension of the difficulties encountered by students with SEMH.
  • Demonstrated capability to motivate and encourage students to unleash their full capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dedication to continual professional growth in SEN education.
