Working in a modern, open-plan office of 3-4 people, the position is a multi-faceted support role, being half sales support and half office admin.

A good, bright, telephone manner will help, as calls will be taken for all areas of the business such as for the labelling machinery sales team (who are remotely based), supporting the internally based Consumables Sales Manager and assisting the internal Finance Co-ordinator.

Reporting will be directly with the two Thame-based Directors.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Telephone support for sales and accounts; taking messages and passing calls to the relevant people within the company
  • Making followup sales and finance calls to customers already quoted or invoiced
  • Maintaining company customer and supplier database (Enapps CRM) and helpdesk system (Freshdesk)
  • Front of house, meetandgreet for site visitors
  • Ordering office supplies, PPE workwear and clothing
  • Booking working lunches for site meetings
  • Liaising with building services e.g. aircon servicing, office cleaning, alarm maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role would be desirable
  • Proficient in Office systems, such as Microsoft Office
  • Excel, Word etc
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills


Depending on the abilities of the individual and their willingness to do more, longer term, there are other opportunities and further responsibilities available that could be incorporated, once established within the current requirement (no fixed timescale).


Longer-term possibilities include:

  • Quality audits for ISO900
  • Assisting Health & Safety inspections
  • HR aspects; maintaining personnel records, dealing with the company's external HR consultant, updating the company handbook
  • Become a First Aider or Fire Marshal for the company (after training)
