The role:


As an Associate Pay Assistant with Bupa Dental Care, you will prepare and manage associate payments efficiently and accurately, providing a professional and courteous customer service to associates and internal and external customers.


Key responsibilities include:

  • To assist with the quarterly clawbacks and grid calculations for all associates, ensuring accuracy and attention to deadlines
  • To prepare and reconcile all NHS superannuation payments ensuring excellent communication with associates
  • To assist with the reconciliation of relevant control accounts in the balance sheet
- maintain the Associate Pay System data ensuring relevant forms are processed in a timely manner

  • To assist with all year end data returns to include HMRC and the NHS
  • To provide a professional and courteous service to internal and external customers
  • To work in conjunction with practice teams to ensure prompt and accurate local resolution of any associate pay queries
  • To ensure all associate overpayments are reclaimed using appropriate procedures
  • To maintain accurate financial records
  • To prepare and issue statements to all associates in a timely manner
  • To liaise with practice teams to ensure all associate payments are accurate
  • To ensure full compliance with all internal, external and legislative requirements
  • To escalates issues where appropriate
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

What we're looking for:

Essential

  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience of bulk data input in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Computer literate, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrable excellent customer service skills
  • Proactive approach to dealing with issues
  • Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines
  • Prioritisation and time management
Desirable

  • Experience of using Unit
  • Relevant accountancy qualifications e.g. AAT or Book keeping
  • Relevant accounts experience
