Community Rehabilitation Assistant
The Blandford Integrated Community Rehabilitation Team is a multi-disciplinary team offering therapy to a wide range of people within their home environments to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and facilitate earlier hospital discharge as well as in-reaching onto the wards.
It would be helpful that you have experience of rehabilitation or a caring role, preferably in both ward and community settings, as well as having good verbal, written and team working skills.
We are looking for a hard-working and dedicated individual to contribute to the teams role in providing clinical rehabilitation and intermediate care to both community and ward patients under the direction of qualified practitioners.
This is a full-time post, 37.50 hours per week - hours to include some weekends and Bank Holidays.
We are a small, passionate and dedicated team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehab Assistants who strive to deliver the highest standard of care for our patients.
In return for your enthusiasm and commitment, we can provide an opportunity for you to develop your clinical skills and experience in a friendly and supportive team, with regular supervision and appraisals.
Employment in this post requires a Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
To contribute to the teams' role in providing clinical rehabilitation and intermediate care to both community and ward patients under the direction of qualified practitioners.
At Dorset HealthCare we're on a mission to empower people to make the most of their lives through our outstanding, joined-up healthcare services.

Whether you're looking to work with us in one of our bustling market towns, vibrant urban locations, thriving seaside spots, or among the rolling hills of Dorset, there are lots of ways you can make a difference in our communities.
Our 7,000-strong workforce is at the heart of what we do and our success is a testament to our brilliant people.
We're an inclusive workplace, where everyone is welcome, everyone can be authentic, and we are all encouraged to be the best version of ourselves.
Working with us you'll be part of a strong team, challenge yourself, build a career, and teach us what we don't know.
