Wigmore Hall is seeking a part-time Administration Assistant, to work on key administrative tasks in the Hall's operation, including the preparation and issuing of concert contracts, and the provision of Paid Permitted Engagement letters of invitation for non-UK citizens.

The role is permanent on a 0.4 FTE basis, with the option of flexible hours and hybrid working.


Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest in arts administration (with at least one year's experience in a similar environment), excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, and a high level of written and verbal communication.

Knowledge of classical music is preferred.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To assist in the preparation and issuing of concert contracts.
  • To assist in ensuring all concerts and events are contractually complete.
  • To assist with issuing of Paid Permitted Engagement letters of invitation for nonUK citizens.
  • To assist with notifying staff of late changes to the concert diary.
  • To help maintain uptodate contact information for artists and ensembles as required.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required by the Office of the Director.
Person Specification

  • Keen interest in arts administration, with at least one year's experience in a similar environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and an aptitude for learning new software, such as ArtsVision.
  • Knowledge of classical music (preferred)
