About the role:

AXA Commercial have a great opportunity for a motivated sales professional to step into Business Development.

As a New Deals Implementation Trainee, you'll be supported to build a career that's as dynamic as the market you'll work in.

You'll contribute to the implementation and management of new schemes, through building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring a seamless transition into AXA Commercial.

We'll help you to progress and are committed to developing talent. You'll have a bespoke training plans and tailored mentoring to cultivate your skills.

We'll offer you the tools to maximise your potential to become a high achieving member of our New Deals Team.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our offices, visiting clients or attending industry events.


What you'll be doing:

  • Support the New Deals Manager and Implementation Managers with meeting preparation, with the opportunity to attend external client meetings.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance, quality and tracking of the administration of tasks in the New Deals Team.
  • Build excellent external and internal relationships, establishing trusted partnerships to support the execution of our strategy.
  • Demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements, conduct and underwriting governance frameworks.
  • Consistently deliver a firstclass service to all stakeholders.
  • Enhance your personal development by being curious, networking and seeking opportunities for growth.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

About you:

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of delivering of excellent customer service within an office environment.
  • Willingness to pursue a relevant industry accreditation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proactive, selfstarter that is solution focused.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills, able to build strong partnering relationships.
  • Eager to further understand the Commercial Insurance market and processes, including legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
  • Professional and able to adapt quickly. You'll be dealing with different people, including customers and insurance professionals.


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
