Etex are seeking an Apprentice Estimator to join the Sigmat Team

Location:
Leeds (Elland)

Hourly Rate:
£7.33

What you'll do:

As part of our pre-contracts team, the Estimator will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tender submissions and client management.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

• Responsibility for the production of accurate and detailed tender submissions
• Create and maintain an accurate cost base for pricing budgets to tight deadlines
• Negotiate terms with client to secure work
• Lead internal handovers for projects that have been secured
• Work with delivery team when a project is secured to provide a proper hand over and procurement schedule

Complete BTEC HNC

• Construction and the Build Environment Apprenticeship
• Attend 1 teaching day a week and as required to effectively complete work as part of the apprenticeship
• Any other tasks commensurate with the post

What you'll bring

• 5 GCSE Level A-C / Equivalent
• Estimating / Construction experience would be desirable but not essential
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Strong business acumen
• Relationship building skills
• Must be articulate and comfortable dealing with people at all levels

In addition to your direct team, you will have regular connections with employees across the Elland Site.
