This position will involve evaluating raw materials, intermediates, and finished products through various sensory, physical, and analytical tests to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Conduct sensory assessments including odor, taste, color, and appearance evaluations.
  • Perform measurements using chemical tests like pH and acid value determination.
  • Analyze physical characteristics such as specific gravity, refractive index, and melting point.
  • Utilize chromatography, GC-MS, and other methods to assess sample composition.
  • Record results in lab systems like SAP and document any deviations.
  • Collate data for material investigations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Background in Sensory Evaluation and Analytical Quality Control.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Databases, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of chemical substances and safety regulations.
  • Basic Sensory evaluation skills are a plus.
