An analyst in this role will have the opportunity to impact strategic decisions at a network level by engaging with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring a blend of analytical expertise to support network planning and possess the ability to think strategically about operational initiatives. This position involves resolving a variety of problem-solving scenarios that rely heavily on data analysis. Collaboration with various business functions, including FC operations' leadership, HR, finance, supply chain, transportation, and workforce staffing, is key.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with business and finance customers to gather, calculate, and present data.
  • Contributing to input forecasting through trend analysis and statistical modeling to drive decision-making.
  • Overseeing Production Planning and optimizing costs and service levels.
  • Developing operational plans for short, medium, and long terms to minimize variable staffing costs.
  • Addressing business challenges by identifying data anomalies, root causes, and proactive opportunities.
  • Communicating complex analysis and insights to stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Participating in global operational and production planning initiatives and project deployments to support business growth.
  • Introducing and advocating for process enhancements and standardization across all network sites.
  • This role involves remote collaboration via Amazon Technologies with teams globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
  • Proficiency in SQL, Datamart, or VBA.
  • Experience translating roadmaps, KPIs, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Background in quantitative research or analysis.
  • Experience in program or project management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Collaborating closely with operational, financial, and planning leaders to optimize labor impact on the supply chain.
  • Programming skills to automate tools when necessary.
  • Experience with Advanced Planning & Optimization or Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
  • Strong preference for Operations Research or Capacity Planning experience.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of Distribution and Manufacturing Resource Planning.
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment.
  • Meeting deadlines and prioritizing effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving and idea generation.
