PE Teacher – Small Classes – September 2024

Are you a qualified PE Teacher looking for a new opportunity for September 2024? Have you considered teaching small classes of students who have struggled to engage with mainstream education? This brilliant school requires a QTS PE Teacher who is committed to inspiring a love for physical education and enabling young people to overcome barriers that they face.

As a PE Teacher you will be teaching classes of no more that 5 students at a time, allowing you to tailor lessons and activities to meet the individual needs of students.

Some students have been permanently excluded and others will be there for up to 12 weeks.

Staff are friendly and the leadership team are extremely supportive, staff retention is good, and both staff and students enjoy being there.

The school has good facilities, and you will have access to a renge of resources to deliver engaging PE lessons.

Strong communication skills are essential for this role as you will be teaching students with SEMH needs and some challenging behaviours.


Job Role:
Teaching Physical Education lessons to small classes of students.
Planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to individual needs of students.
Collaborating with the class teacher and teaching assistants to support students.
Communicating effectively with staff, students and parents
